The problem: Photoshop on the school desktop crashes on startup.
The solution: Disable the graphics card and allocate RAM to Photoshop.
The reality: this works well BUT you have to do this every time you start Photoshop if the computer has been restarted.
The process:
- Start Photoshop.
- Login with your school email/password combo.
- From the top menu in Photoshop, click on Edit and scroll all the way down to choose Preferences.
- Under Preferences, choose Performance.
- Change two settings on Performance:
>change memory usage by moving the slider all the way to the right.
>uncheck the box that says “use Graphics Processor”
